Light from the Dark

Second concert at Bath Abbey. It was a lunchtime recital that kept people speechless. 

On 24^th February 2024, the residents of Bath and North East Somerset gathered in Bath Abbey to mark the second anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian armed forces. The special recital Light from the Dark was organised by the Friends of Oleksandriya with full support of Bath and North East Somerset Council, Rotary Club of Bath and Bath Abbey. Although the lunchtime recital was to begin only at midday, people started gathering at 11am and quickly filled the abbey. Not a singe seat was empty and more than 400 people united in the very heart of Bath on this tragic day to show solidarity and support to people of Ukraine.
