OUR PROJECTS

We at the Friends of Oleksandriya are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those affected by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Our current target is to raise needed funds for the purchase of physio equipment for the Rehabilitation Centre and gym equipment for the Veterans' Hub in Oleksandriya. Let's help them to rebuild their normal lives!
SPECIALIZED VEHICLES

We were able to raise funds to purchase an ambulance car for the Children's Hospital in Oleksandriya and a social taxi for people with moving difficulties.
GENERATORS APPEAL
Through our humanitarian aid efforts, we have been able to provide Oleksandriya with 13 7.5kW generators for schools and preschools, a 100kV and 200kV generators for the General Hospital and 75kV generator for the Children's Hospital.

Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, we organized three concerts at Bath Abbey to mark all three anniversaries of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russia Federation. These events enabled the citizens of Bath to unite in the very heart of our city to show solidarity and support to Ukraine. The funds raised helped us to send more humanitarian aid to Oleksandriya.
BUILDING LINKS

We are promoting sports, cultural and educational links between our communities with sports gifts having been exchanged and e-twinning between B&NES schools and Oleksandriya schools being started.
FRIENDSHIP AGREEMENT
​
In Summer 2023, a historic Friendship Agreement between Bath and North East Somerset Council and Oleksandriya Territorial Community was signed by Cllr Kevin Guy and Mayor Serhii Kuzmenko respectively.
