The Bath Abbey tower and the Guildhall were illuminated in the Ukrainian national colours to mark four years since Russia’s full-scale invasion.
In February 2026, landmarks in Bath, including Bath Abbey and the Guildhall, were illuminated in the blue and yellow colours of the Ukrainian flag to mark the fourth anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The lighting formed part of a wider programme of remembrance and solidarity organised by Bath & North East Somerset Council, including a commemorative gathering at the Guildhall on 24 February with moments of reflection and Ukrainian music. The illumination served as a visible symbol of support for the Ukrainian people and a reminder of the continued impact of the war.
