Chair Zhenya Shkil attended a meeting about Ukraine and Europe's future
Today, The Friends of Oleksandriya participated in a major European-level discussion organised by the European Parliament Liaison Office in the United Kingdom, in cooperation with the European Parliament’s Office in Ukraine and the Westminster Alliance for Ukraine. The event attracted over 150 participants, both online and offline, joining from all over Europe including London, Brussels, and Kyiv.
Our organisation was represented by Chair Zhenya Shkil, and the Oleksandriya Mayor’s Office was also present, ensuring that our city’s voice was heard in a forum that shapes Europe’s political, security and civic agenda.
Importantly, three parliaments were represented today:
the European Parliament,
the UK Parliament,
and the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada.
This created a rare and powerful platform for joint reflection on Europe’s future and Ukraine’s path to victory.
